The Sheikha Fatima Children's Hospital at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo is one of the most significant healthcare investments Kosovo has seen — a donation of the Sheikha Fatima Foundation of the United Arab Emirates, delivered as a complete turn-key hospital by Mabetex Group, a company renowned worldwide for landmark construction projects. When it came to the medical heart of the building, Mabetex placed its trust in YessPharma.
Between 2020 and 2022 we supplied, installed and commissioned the hospital's high-end medical technology across three critical areas. For patient care: anesthesia machines, ventilators, infant warmers and phototherapy devices — the equipment that keeps the smallest patients safe from their very first hours. For diagnostic imaging: ultrasound systems, MRI, static and mobile X-ray units and an RF180 fluoroscopy system. And for the operating rooms: a surgical C-arm for interventional procedures.
Because this hospital was built for children, the details mattered. Radiography under painted blue skies, fluoroscopy in an underwater world of turtles and coral — rooms designed so that advanced technology examines children without frightening them.
The hospital was inaugurated in June 2021 and the project completed in 2022. Today, Kosovo's youngest patients are diagnosed and treated with the same generation of technology found in leading European children's hospitals — and we are proud that Mabetex Group and the Sheikha Fatima Foundation counted on YessPharma to make that possible.
